For the last 16 years, the Meeting of regional Broadcasting organizations and Transmitting equipment manufacturers (MBT) has been the most important yearly event of the industry in Central and South Eastern Europe. In 2019, the event will take place in Budapest and will be hosted by Antenna Hungária Zrt.

Broadcasters, regulators, system integrators, distributors and other key players in the value chain from the region all consider this event a must. The MBT conference often attracts participants from international organisations and industry players such as the EBU, ITU, Broadcast Networks Europe and WorldDAB as well.

Facing a growing number of challenges, traditional free-to-air and pay-tv business models need to be adapted to new content channels and consumer trends. Where do the real business opportunities lie and how should broadcasters react?
